Compared to the traditional bath tub which is bulky, the
Tummy Tub® is simpler to use. It has an anti-skid base and when filled, its unique tulip shape and low center of gravity provide a safe and stable base when bathing the baby.
Being transparent it allows full view of your baby during bathing time. It also uses much less water for bathing and due to it's unique shape leaves less water surface area exposed so it can keep the water warm longer compared with other baby baths.

Designed in the Netherlands, the Tummy Tub® was developed in cooperation with midwives, nursery nurses, physicians and psychologists - designed to simulate a mother's womb. Shaped like a 'tulip' with a curved base, the space inside the Tummy Tub® is limited leaving the baby in a fetal and upright position. This familiar position is assuring and relaxing for the baby.
The Tummy Tub® offers many benefits for both parent and baby - designed to provide a more enjoyable bathtime for parent and baby. It is lightweight and designed with 2 ergonomic hand grips on opposite side for easy handling. A parent can hold a newborn baby under the chin or at the back of the neck to support the head. This makes it easy for the parent to bath the baby, because they have a hand free to do the cleaning and washing they use the Tummy Tub®.
